This is a nifty little pack I bought in preparation for the Summer hiking and camping season. Though I would more call it a "Preparation" kit, rather than a "Survival" kit. All of the items provided would very much come in handy, but not if you were in a dire situation. Items included are; waterproof matches, a multi tool, a flashlight, a whistle/compass/storage container device, a tealight candle, 2 handwarmer packs, a first aid kit, a ziplock bag, a poncho and a thermal blanket. All stored in a one litre water bottle. All in all, not bad for the $20 price point.More...

I was quite surprised by the overall quality of this product. Between the open comment of this umbrella having a plastic handle and the relatively cheap price point of only $29.99 I was convinced that this was going to be a purchase I would regret.
